The City of Melissa has accepted a Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) through 2019 based upon current population, estimated growth, and the Future Land Use Plan seen below.  The CIP identifies projects required in preparation of this growth and allows for a long term look at integrating them with the City's annual budget.  Currently, the City has detailed plans for Water, Sewer, and Transportation while working to create detailed plans for Parks and Recreation and Facilities.
